The Bowie — Austin, Texas
Large-scale exterior mural / Architectural artwork
A landmark wall
At The Bowie in Austin, oversized white lettering stretches across a dark blue exterior wall, framed by a striking burst of yellow rays. Bright turquoise and red geometric fields complete the composition.
Designed for the setting
The artwork follows the building's expansive exterior wall, creating a dramatic focal point beside an elevated pool terrace and the surrounding city views. Its graphic forms and high-contrast palette make the mural legible at architectural scale.
Visual impact
By combining typography, color, and bold geometric composition, the mural turns a prominent exterior surface into a memorable part of the building's identity.
